Lesson # 1 Lick your family to death! My nickname is Lickassaurus Rex. I love to show affection to my family. For humans this means kiss or hug or show affection in any way you want to the people you love.
Lesson # 2 Wag your tail when you see someone you love. I love to wag my tail when someone comes home. I get so excited and I want them to know how important they are to me that my tail goes wacko. For humans this means you get excited and welcome your family members with love at the door. You can have a friendly smile and open arms to show them how important they are to you.
Lesson # 3 It’s ok to tell your family you need your belly scratched! I love love love to get my belly scratched. I almost get paralyzed in a deep sleep if my Mom scratches my belly for a long time. It makes me feel loved. As soon as I see her seating down on the couch, I jump to get a belly scratch. I lay on my back and completely relax my legs and close my eyes. For humans this means you look for opportunities to get a hug or a kiss from Mom or Dad anytime you need some love.
Lesson # 4 Play together to Be Happy! My favorite game is “Go to Mommy” I like when my family is seating down in the living room and I am next to my Dad and he throws me down and tells me to go to Mommy and then she tells me to go to Yaya and then she tells me to go to Sammy. I just run around and around from person to person. Also, my magic spin is in the top of the list. My dad grabs me and I lay on my back and he spins me as fast as he can… I just completely relax in perfect vertical position. For humans this means you play with each other and be happy. Good thing is that dogs don’t have to worry about electronics..
Lesson # 5 Follow the Rules to be safe. My Dad sets a strong rule that if I brake I get a big uff-cequence. I like to run away a play “You can’t catch me”, but I guess if I keep doing that, one day I can get hit by a car and not see my family anymore. For humans this means follow the rules to be safe. Children need rules to grow healthy and strong. Now my Dad opens the door and I just look at the outside and don’t move this makes me feel “I am a good dog” because I am obedient.
